Considerations about E-mail marketing
It’s easy and cheap to send out e-mail newsletters, so it may be appealing to use e-mail a lot. There are a few risks in this, though, as outlined below.
Sending too many mails
By over promoting your company, product or service, you could alienate your recipients (prospects or customers). Some constraint is in order. What good is a customer that doesn’t want to buy from you because your constant e-mails annoyed them?
Unsolicited mail
If you send mails to people that haven’t given their permission to be placed on your mailing list, that may annoy or offend them. That may mean they won’t buy from you again, even if your product or service is top rated.
